My first Ipsy Glam Bag Plus was received in May – these boxes contain 4-5 full sized products at the cost of $25/month. I took terrible pictures, as I was too lazy to move from my bed and literally just held the products up and snapped. So, don’t mind the mess in the background or the terrible quality of the photos. I missed the mark on this one.

The Glam Bag Plus comes in a large, hot pink box. It doesn’t contain any cute little makeup bags like the regular Glam Bag does, but the PLUS contains full sized products that can value more than $60 each!
I. Love. This. Stuff.
It smells JUST like an orange creamsicle, goes on smooth, and absorbs quickly (which is a MUST for me with lotions – I hate feeling greasy). It left my skin soft and moisturized, but without the lasting heavy cream feel. I ended up giving this to my mom because she loves lotions more than I do.
Two full-sized lip pencils were included in the box – I know absolutely nothing about lip pencils, so I drew the lighter of the two shades onto my entire lip like a lipstick, and immediately wiped it off. I have no clue how to use these, no clue if they’re good quality or not, so I honestly can’t give this its’ due review. All I know is that I logged onto Ipsy and immediately changed my preferences so that I wouldn’t waste anymore products like these. Also, couldn’t give these away as nobody else wanted them either.
Mascara – Can’t read the brand. I gave this away to a co-worker and she uses it almost daily. It’s waterproof (which I can’t use) and makes her lashes look amaaaaaaazing.
Again, I can’t personally give this a just review but it was nice to receive a full-sized mascara in the box!
I like masks, just not the cut-out style masks like these are. I tried one, however, and was just disappointed. I pulled out a completely black mask that was cold and wet, slapped it around my face until I could fit the eye and mouth holes where they needed to go, then sat there for 10 minutes while the mask bubbled up and eventually turned white with bubbles. All the while, I had to sit with my head craned back or the mask would slowly start sliding down my face and I’d have to re-position it.
When I finally took it off, all that was left was soap on my face – which I then had to wash off. So, I guess if the goal is to let soap sit on your face for 10 minutes before washing, then these masks will work for you.
I won’t be buying them, and gave the remaining two away to a co-worker.
I love this so much. I keep this in my “daily” makeup bag and use it whenever I apply makeup. I love the summer colors (you’ll see additional pictures in the next post with the color palette) and they go on pigmented and smooth. I can layer them, combine them, separate, line, all of the above and more. I’ve used the deep blue color as an eyeliner and smeared the pretty gold and pink on my lids. It’s just a pretty product and I’m glad I received a full sized palette.
