My Ipsy glam bag finally came! I was SO excited to see it, but in the same breath it was a little bittersweet since funds demanded I pause my Glam Bag PLUS account until further notice (school starting back has completely depleted my account – because kids). Regardless, my August bag was still super fun!

Nails. Inc. – ‘Weekend Superpowers’ Nail Polish: This color is a gorgeous hunter green and goes on easily and smooth. After three days, however, even with two coats, it has chipped and dulled. I like it though – especially for fall colors!
Suva Beauty Eyeshadow – Turmeric: This is a really pretty gold color; I have not tried it myself because I’m going to send it to a friend who I think it will look bomb on. It’s a good sized tray so it should last a while.
Luxie Beauty – 237 Blending Dreamcatcher: Pretty eyeshadow brush? I really can’t differentiate between the brushes so it’s nice and puts the eyeshadow on the lid; what more can I ask for?
IT Cosmetics – Confidence in a Gel Lotion: I think I’m most disappointed in this item because of it’s TINY size – like it’s seriously good for one use and I’m saving that for a special day because I really really want to try a gel lotion. I don’t know when that day will be; but I really don’t like receiving products that make me hoarde them for fear of a one-time-use kind of thing (in my warped mind, I save them for “emergencies” or a non-specific day when I know I’ll just NEED it). This gel lotion is supposed to deliver up to 72 hours of moisture!
Biorace – Pore Purifying Spirulina & Tea Tree Clay Mask: I tried this mask – I wasn’t overly pleased with the scent but it didn’t smell completely terrible either. It was just…blah. I guess with Tea Tree I was expecting something earthy and fresh. I didn’t particularly like the little black specks in the mask either – I feel like a mask shouldn’t feel like an exfoliator, because there’s really no use in that, in my opinion. I kept it on for about 10-15 minutes and wiped it off – my skin felt nice and clear afterwards so I guess it did the job! I will use it again.
Overall I am pleased with my August 2019 Ipsy Glam Bag! If you aren’t receiving these bags yet, you should totally sign up! It’s $10 a month and you get 4-5 deluxe samples and some full-sized samples as well! Hope you all have a wonderful week ❤
