Ipsy Glam Bag Plus Review – Sept 2019

This month I received an Ipsy Glam Bag PLUS – it’s $25/mo and comes with 3-4 full-sized products! It’s packaged in a pretty pink box and delivered straight to your doorstep! What a sight to come home to 🙂

Interested in trying Ipsy? Click here to check it out! They have options for several different price points – there’s the Glam Bag which includes a makeup bag and 3-4 deluxe and full-sized items for $10/mo. The Glam Bag PLUS comes with 3-4 full-sized items, costing $25/mo. There’s also a new option starting in OCTOBER called the Glam Bag ULTIMATE which will have 12 full-sized products for $50/mo!

So viola, here’s my September haul for Ipsy!

Ciate – Extraordinary Translucent Powder: This is one of the disappointing items because I truly don’t use setting powder, or whatever this is. I’ll be gifting this to someone else who may use this more than I would! It’s full sized and a large quantity – it will last a while so that’s nice.

Disco Kitten – Illuminating Diamond Peel-Off Mask: I’m gifting this to a friend as well, she loves the peel-off masks so I’m making a care package to send down to her with some goodies! I was pretty excited about this item because I, too, like masks but I don’t use them near enough as she would so……..

Wander Beauty – Frame Your Face Micro Brow Pencil: I don’t even know what to do with this – color my eyebrows? Frame my face, what? This is a wasted product for me and I’ll have to update my beauty preferences so they don’t send me anymore of this stuff.

OFRA x Madison Miller Squad Palette: Ok….I, I get it. Sure. Another highlighting and contouring palette – or something. I used the blush but it’s a little too dark and pigmented for me; my cheeks were too red for my liking. The highlighter is OK, I’m sure I’ll use it. I just don’t really have a need for this; especially since I received the HUDA Beauty highlighter palette like a month ago.

Berlin Underground Intense Eyeshadow Palette: And intense it truly is! Wow! I tried on the purple color but it ended up looking more charcoal – I also used a light silver color all over my lid and it fell into my creases within a few hours. I’m not sure if I used primer that was wrong for my lids and made them greasy, or if it’s the eyeshadow. I’ll have to try again – great palette, HUGE, lots of color options – it’s just WAY out of my comfort zone!

Have you been receiving any Ipsy bags? What item would you like to try?
