Let’s jump right in, shall we? This month I received the Ipsy Glam Bag for the new price of $12/mo! For the increase, I don’t really see any difference. The makeup bag still contains a mix of deluxe and full sized products, and this month Ipsy did a collab with Betty Boop! The front of the bag has her adorable image and the back of the bag is black sequins.
Betty Boop x Ipsy – Blink and Wink Mascara: I haven’t personally tried this yet – I feel like I get a mascara in every single bag and box, so I have TOO many at this point. I’ll be giving this one away!
JUMISO – Have a Good Cream: Their claim to fame with this cream is that the main ingredient is Snail Mucin, which is supposed to help fade acne scars and hyperpigmentation, clear complexion, minimize pores, etc. I haven’t yet tried this but have my fingers crossed that it’ll be a keeper!
Seraphine Botanicals – Camelina + Strobe Luminizing Primer: This was a little bit of a surprise – it is a very thick almost-paste that you can apply underneath or on top of your makeup for a luminizing look. I applied this under my CC cream (also included in this bag) and was pleasantly surprised at the glow I had with just the primer on!
Space Case Cosmetics – Highlighter: I really don’t need another highlighter – much like the mascara, I feel like I receive a highlighter or two in every box! I used this as an eyeshadow, actually, but really didn’t notice any color whatsoever. Most likely will be giving this one away as well.
IT Cosmetics – Your Skin But Better CC Cream: I applied this on top of my new luminizing primer (listed above) and perhaps I applied too much, because when it came to blending I turned white as a ghost! WOW coverage! I had to use a towel to take some excess off my face and really REALLY work on blending. It’s provided all-day coverage and I will for sure use it again – I’d like to get a CC cream into my daily routine and this one was nice!
